THE 2020 BIG-DAY TO CELEBRATE OUR 35th BIRTHDAY

The year 2020 is definitely special but for BIGCYCLING, it also celebrates its 35th birthday. We will celebrate it during a whole day, the BIG-DAY, the 27th of september 2020. How ? Through a common challenge, we will succeed it together or not...
What is the goal ?
1) To receive during this day photos coming from at least 35 different places (tops exisitng in our lists) with at least 3 members carrying his/her bike over his head.
2) To have at least 1000 different members in all those photos
Contest : special exposition to the 3 biggest groups. Who and where will be those groups ?
Suggestion : manage your national meeting at that moment !
Here are the first places suggested for this day
1. (Germany1 ) Invitation : Heiko Linnert - Place : Hamberg
theoretisch könnten wir am 27.September am Natascha Mariahilfberg hier in Amberg ein kleines Treffen machen, immerhin gibt es in Amberg 6 Challenge BIG Mitglieder und noch 4-5 andere potentielle Teilnehmer. Und der Ort am Fuße der Wallfahrtskirche würde ein gutes Bild ergeben. Wird ein bisschen schwierig mit der Organisation weil ich den Tag Rufdienst habe, aber der anstieg beginnt praktisch direkt am Krankenhaus und ist nur einen Kilometer lang aber sehr steil, wie eine Muur! Irgendwie könnte das also klappen, insbesondere falls es schwierig wird insgesamt 35 verschiedene Orte zu finden. Wenn es also für BIG interessant wäre dann geb mir Bescheid und wir versuchen auch hier etwas zu organisieren, wäre halt kein BIG sondern nur ein Natascha.
2. (France1 - Alpes du sud) Invitation : Robert Charbonnier - Place : Cime de la Bonette
S'il y en a qui veulent fêter ça en haut de la plus haute route d'Europe 🙂 je serai là pour faciliter l'intendance. Mais l'aller-retour ça fait 250 km, faudra partir tôt. En tout cas ça ferait un bel anniversaire.
3. (Italia1 - Piemonte) Invitato: Luigi Spina - Place : Colle de Braida
Propongo il Colle Braida per i membri big del Piemonte.
4. (Belgique1 - Ardenne(n)s) Invitation : Amaury Preillon & Managers Belgique - Place : Stockeu ? Kluisberg ? les 2 ?
Je serais partant pour la région de Stavelot (Wanne, Stockeu, Haute-Levée, Rosier) ou la région entre Mont de l’Enclus et Audenaarde (Kluisberg, Koppenberg, Vieux Kwaremont, Paterberg).
5. (Netherlands-Belgium-Germany) Invitation : Christiaan Weijtmans, & Managers Netherlands, Belgium and Germany - Meetingplace: Drielandenpunt between 12.00 h and 13.00 h
We try to ride the 7 Dutch BIG's in Limburg on that day and arrive between 12.00 h and 13.00 h at Vaals (Drielandenpunt) to meet our Belgian and German friends and together raise our bikes and celebrate our 35th birthday. More info will follow. Information: Christiaan Weytmans.
