A BOOK VERY NEAR US
01-02-2013Edited in 2012, a book showing 50 europe's greatest cycling climbs is very near us. Among the 50 climbs, 48 are inside our superlist 1000. Only the "montée Jalabert" in Mende-France and the Croce d'Aune (statue Campagnolo) in Italy are outside.
Daniel Friebe, journalist, describes not only the climbs themselves but interesting stories all around the climbs. The photograph, Pete Goding, illustrated the climbs with magnificent pictures. I know very well those very well known climbs but I learned many unbelievable things about them by reading this book.
