MORE THAN 100 BIGs IN THE WORLD TOUR 2011
15-01-2011It's the time of the professional great race's presentations. The UCI links in 2011 all those great races in a classement, called World Tour 2011.
The mediatic way, or the cycling professional history is part of our BIG challenge, among the three criteria and the 5 principles. A part of the BIG scores for every climb calculates the amount of times that it appears in great races.
Clic on "read more" after the icon and you'll have the approximative amount of bigs for each of those races for the coming season. Let's recall that if the climb appears at least one time in one of those races, the big has at least 5 points in the media score and 1 point more for each step of 5 new times that it happens.

10 Paris - Roubaix France 0 (the pavé du Buat section, the lonely slopy one, isn't in the challenge)
17 Amstel Gold Race The Netherlands 7 (Drielandenpunt, Vijlenerbos, Keutenberg, Cauberg, Oude Huls, Eyserbos, Gulperberg)
20 La Flèche Wallonne Belgium 1 (Mur de Huy, three times including the final climb)
24 Liège - Bastogne - Liège Belgium 4 (Wanne, Stockeu, Rosier, Redoute)
26-01/05 Tour de Romandie Switzerland 2 (Vue des Alpes?, Marchairuz? = often used, we have only the great lines of the race)

05-12 Critérium du Dauphiné Libéré France 3 (Galibier?, Izoard?, Mont Ventoux? = the most used and this year, galibier will have the honour of the Tour, than... !!!!)
