29-09-2009Our website 2010 new look will have some extra zones. Outside the fact that our webmaster is working on a new website for the future, still better and more efficient than now, the applications of what has been decided in the general meeting of our leading committee in the beginning of the year will be soon online.
In January, the wide Leading Committee decided plenty of plannings for the future. Many of them have already been realized about many topics : promotions, delegates,... One of them was about the website. A new lay-out has been included per default each time that you're clicking on the description menu of one of our 1.000 bigs. Now, all the bigs are updated in this way since today. This lay-out per default is the preparation of a great amount of additional functions and datas and of plenty of mistakes'deletings.Those pages only request to be filled. Look how here.
Let's recall that since next month, this description's page will only be available for the contributing members, those who paid at least 5 euros a year to our challenge to help us to manage all our activities.
In those descriptions'pages, Presi-Dan will add inside the point number 1 : new datas giving with precision this time, the points of difficulty, tourism and media, the ranking of the bigs according to those criteria inside the zone and in general. He will also add a cross below some icons giving touristical and media informations about the top reached.This will also add a new classification about the difficulty reached each year by the members.
Helmuth Dekkers and Marco Mosconi will add inside the point number 2 : the links to all the sides of the bigs showing the precise track on Google Earth under kml mode and gpx mode (for GPS users).
Presi-Dan will also add inside the point number 3 : the access to the feet of the bigs and the precise descriptions of the way by which the climb is ridden (name of the streets, of the road). He will add some very main icons about the necessary use of MTB or not.
Many members have already described some climbs. Presi-Dan compiled them inside the point number 4. You'll find there many descriptions of theclimbs in different and various languages.
Jose Bruffaerts is finishing a fantastic job inside the point number 5 called "links". For each big, you'll have all the links in the web talking about this climb or top.
Finally, inside the point number 6, the times normally requested to climb all the sides of our bigs, will be edited according to 10 classes in which each of them will be able to select his own. It will be an help for each of us to plan his next travel.

Notre site web en 2010 new look se targuera de quelques extra zones. Hormis le fait que notre webmaster travaille à un nouveau site pour le futur, encore meilleur et plus efficiace que maintenant, les applications de ce qui a été décidé lors de la réunion du comité central élargi en janvier au début de l'année seront bientôt en ligne.
En janvier, ce comité avait écrit un tas de planifications pour l'avenir. beaucoup d'entre elles ont déjà été réalisées, notamment au sujet de la promotion et des délégués... L'une d'elles traitait du site web et de ses améliorations. Une nouvelle page par défaut a d'ores et déjà été insérée à chaque fois que vous cliquez sur le menu "description" pour un de nos bigs. Depuis aujourd'hui, tous les bigs en disposent. Ces pages ne demandent qu'à être remplies. Ce fond par défaut est une préparation d'un travail en cours qui va ajouter de nombreuses informations imminemment. Voyez comment (en anglais) ICI.
Rappelons toutefois qu'à partir de novembre, ces pages ne seront plus accessibles qu'aux membres cotisants, c'est-à-dire à ceux qui ont payé un minimum de 5 euros par an pour aider le challenge à organiser l'ensemble de ses nombreuses et variées activités.
Dans ces pages de description, Presi-Dan va ajouter sous le point numéro 1 : les nouvelles cotations avec précision cette fois, les cotations en difficulté, tourisme et médiatisation, le classement du big en question dans sa zone et en général. Il mettra également une croix sous le logo donnant une information de ce qui se trouve au sommet et en matière de média. Les points serviront à un classement annuel annexe de la difficulté big grimpée sur un an.
Helmuth Dekkers et Marco Mosconi ajouteront sous le point numéro 2 : les liens vers tous les versants de tous les bigs pour visualiser les tracés sur Google Earth en formal kml et en mode gpx pour les utilisateurs de gps.

ajoutera sous le point numéro 3: les accès pour arriver au pied des versants de toutes les ascensions ainsi que les tracés exacts de celles-ci (noms des rues, des routes,...). Il indiquera avec un logo adapté la nécessité d'emporter son VTT ou non pour grimper le big en question.
Beaucoup de membres ont décrit des ascensions. Presi-Dan les a compilées et les ajoutera sous le point numéro 4. Vous trouverez donc ici de nombreux descriptifs dans des langues variées.
Jose Bruffaerts termine son fabuleux travail consistant à donner tous les liens sur le web relatifs aux bigs. Pour chacun, vous aurez les pages internet parlant des ascensions ou des sommets.
Enfin, sous le point numéro 6 à venir, les temps nécessaires pour réaliser les ascensions vont apparaître. Selon le type de cyclo qu'il est, tout membre pourra déterminer sa catégorie entre la classe 1 et la classe 10. Ainsi, en se référant à cette classe, il pourra évaluer le temps nécessaire pour grimper et pourra de la sorte organiser encore plus efficacement ses voyages.
