OUR 4 CHALLENGES
22-02-2021There are 4 BIGCYCLING challenges : a main one called BIG and 3 smallest ones : Natacha, TGV and Ironbig.
1) The challenge BIG exists since 1985 and is based on the claiming of 1000 different tops. Two possibilities to be a finisher :
a) SUPERBIG : 940 fixed names in Europe + 60 freely choosen divided into 10 in North-America, 10 in South America, 10 in Africa, 10 in Asia, 10 in Oceania and 10 in Ex-USSR (see the rules)
b) EUROBIG : 1000 fixed names only in Europe = 940(same) + 60 in eastern countries of Europe
With 164 bigs, you are a bigger, with 500 bigs an half-finisher.
2) The National challenges , called NATaCHAs, exist since 2015. They are fixed lists of tops in only one country. Currently we have 12 existing natachas HUN,ROM,AND,CZE,MNE,ISL,IRL,DEU,UKD,CRO,BOS,NDL. The other countries are coming : the next one will be Italy in July 2021.
The lists in those countries are multiples of 25, but can't be over 1000 and are based on the cycling capacities of the country according to our principles. All the bigs of this country are included and we added new ones.
For example in the Netherlands, launched in 2021, there is a list of 50 tops with the 10 bigs and 40 new ones. The finishers are those who claim all the natachas of a country, the half-finihsers are those who claim half this number.
3) The challenge called TGV means Tour-Giro-Vuelta is a challenge compiling all the GPM, class HC and 1C of the 3 best professional tours since more than one century. It will be launched in may 2021. No choice, we only compile. The total amount will increase every year with the new HC and 1C of the current season. The classement will be like in Golf Sport : PARxxx. PAR124 means that there is still 124 tops to claim to be a finisher.
4) The challenge IRONBIG , exists since 2010. It celebrates godfathers of the tops included in our website, wherever they are : bigs, natachas, or TGVs if the member climbs 25 times to this top in a given time (delay of 1 day if D+<200m, 1 month if D+ between 201 and 500m and 1 year if D+>500m). Seems like everesting.
