Many informations are coming from everywhere :

1) Our VIP nr 3500 has been found in Switzerland. The excellent professional racer of the 90's Jean-Marie Grezet agreeded to subscribe in our challenge. His claims will appear soon. (Daniel Gobert)

2) A spanish article about our two winners Etienne and Eric appeared in the spanish cycling review Pedalier. (Claudio Montefusco)

3) Thank to Claudio's sons, the stickers are now on the top's roadsigns in Britanny. (Claudio Montefusco)

4) An hungarian member, nr 679, Tamas Jarvas, took part in the RAAM (race across America). (Gabor Györgyi)

5) It seems that the Stelvio will become a toll road for cars and motorbikes. (Mauro Repetti)

6) On the other way, it seems that the Puy-de-Dôme works are not following the cycling legend. The narrower surfaced road will only be available since 2013 two or three days a year. (Dirk Vissers-see "read more")

7)  A very good new side of the Mortirolo has been discovered. It will surely appear in our website. (Mauro Repetti)

 Avec la mise en place du train panoramique des dômes sur l'ancienne plate-forme de la voie routière d'accès au sommet du puy de Dôme, la configuration de ce qui devient maintenant une voie de service a considérablement évolué, la largeur circulable étant à présent réduite de moitié (environ 3 m 50)

Ces considérations ont conduit à porter la plus grande attention aux conditions de sécurité à offrir aux cyclistes une fois que le train sera en service.

Celles-ci ne pouvant être garantie totalement, l'accès au sommet par des cyclistes individuels selon le même fonctionnement qu'avant les travaux du train depuis le 26 mai 2012 ne sera plus autorisé.

Cependant, l'accès reste possible dans le cadre de manifestations parfaitement encadrées à l’organisation validée par une commission locale de sécurité

Une première manifestation sera organisée en 2013 par la société exploitante du panoramique des Dômes, TC DOME ( 04 73 87 43 00). Aussi, je vous invite à bien vouloir prendre contact avec elle afin d’obtenir tous les renseignements qui permettront d’organiser votre venue sur le site du puy de Dôme.
