MEMORIAL ON THE MORTIROLO
05-06-2012Last weekend Leonie van de Pol and Mauro Repetti put flowers near the memory-plate of Hans Milder on top of the Mortirolo
Hans was a enthusiastic cyclist. Specially in the mountain area’s. In june 2010 Hans Milder died because of cancer.
His partner Leonie searched for a way to honor Hans. Mortirolo was his favorit mountain. That’s why Leonie put the memory plate there.
When I heard about that I brought Mauro (Godfather of the Mortirolo!!) in contact with Leonie. Mauro dedicated one of his iron BIG Mortirolo climbs to Hans Milder. You could read about that in de BIG review 2011.
This week it’s 2 years ago that Hans Milder died. Reason for Leonie to go back to the Mortirolo. Our dearest BIG member Mauro and his uncle Fernando guided Leonie. They put flowers near the memory plate. Leonie was Mauro’s guest the whole weekend.
