1. MANY MOVEMENTS ON THE TOP
During those Eastern holidays, many movements appeared on the top of our general classement. The leaders were already cycling everywhere in Europe. The spanish couple, Frederic Rafols and Nuria Escuer Mestres, already climbed more than 30 new BIGs in the British Isles. In this way, Frederic is the 11th member to pass over the number of 500 BIGs, and Nuria is very near this round number. Waaw !
Another couple, Dominique Jacquemin & Dominique Vanstiphout, climbed nearly 20 new bigs in Catalogna and DJ reached the big13 step with 650 bigs in the overall classement. Always busy on the roads they are !
Kevin Speed and Alain Jacquemin also added many bigs to their results.
2. A RIGHT-WRONG SCOTTISH CROSSROAD
Finally, without any organization covering the event due to a lack of participants, some members climbed the scottish bigs. The spanish Rafols-Escuer and Montefusco C., the frenchman Candau F. and the belgian Frogneux B. climbed the friends of the fabulous Bealach na Ba. You can discover some views in Claudio Montefusco's blog. Duing this time, Olivier Hochuli, for example was in Ticino, Marc Desender in Corsica, D.Briollet in the Vosges and Black Forest. The season is on its way. It starts quick again.
3. TATRAS MEETING IN A GOOD WAY
Without knowing how many members inside those 3 countries will join us one day or another, the coming Tatras meeting will be an event like the Oberstdorf one, with about 40 participants. Some have the habit of those meetings and are happy to meet again. Helmuth Dekkers and his wife, with F.Candau and B.Frogneux, C.Montefusco, the Notten brothers, L.Spina and C.Torelli, A.Jansen, the italan triple Solenni-Magri-Cattaneo, M.Seguy and his wife, L.Willem & X.Rutten. 4 guys will manage their travels in a 9 places renting car : K.Speed, J.Nilson, P.Vanis will join D.Gobert for travelling in this way. M.Fulka, M.Ksiazkiewicz, M.Gruchel, R.Sasik, M. Slopovsky will help us on their national roads. M.Taylor will perhaps come too and a lot of german will take part : J.Reckhaus, H.Linnert & V.Klicknik, A.Von Heydebreck & D.Buschmann, A.John & D.Pohl. Finally, perhaps other ones like S.Etienne or M.Renwart. Great meeting in appearance.
