NATACHAS OUT OF EUROPE
19-08-2024With the launch of Spain in July 2024, there are now 32 national challenges (natachas).
In our zone 0, alled Europe, there will be 44 natachas. That means 12 left.
At the end of this year 2024, we will launch 2 large challenges
* Poland with 400 cycling summits
* Bulgaria with 250 cycling summits
and 4 small or extra-small challenges
In Europe
* Feroe islands with 25 cycling summits
* Gibraltar with only 5 cycling summits
Note that it is currently impossible to manage a challenge with 5 cycling summits in Monaco according to our rules (2in1, ...)
Out of Europe (NEW), 2 small or extra-small challenges (administratively in France but geographically according to the geographical 7 zones in the Bigcycling World) in the zone 2 called North-America.
* Guadeloupe with 30 cycling summits
* Saint-Barthelemy with 10 cycling summits
Note that the multiples of 5 are agreeded until 50, the multiples of 25 until 400, the multiples of 50 afterwards.
Be careful ! Those zones out of Europe are a part of the Superbig challenges with free climbs claimed by members according to our rules and to their own claims before. That means that those climbs don't follow necessarily the rules to build our national challenges. To avoid problems about that fact, we take the following decisions
1) If we consider that the existing claims in zone 12 of our members have sides extremely near the sides of our natachas of this territory or country, we will ourselves move their claims to the side of the natacha. In that way, the member will have an automatic score of +1 in the natacha of this country, without having to do something.
2) If the existing claim in zone 12 is far from our natacha-sides, we will not transfer those claims and the member will have to climb the natacha-side to score.
3) If a member climb in the future 1 natacha-side out of Europe and that he wants to claim it for the natacha challenge and also in zone 12 as a superbig, he will have to make 2 actions. The first one : to claim the natacha. The second one : to fill the form of zone 12 BUT ONLY GIVING THE NAME OF THE NATACHA AND THE SIDE USED (not having to write all the data of the climb like now or for other climbs, because all the data will be written in the website with a great precision).
We will not be able to create national challenges of all the territories and countries of the world, due to our limited time alive in this world (;-) ), to political unsecurity is some countries, to lack of informations about the roads in other ones, ... The evolution of the approach of all the countries or territories in the world, by our managers, can be seen in the menu "natacha","generalities","natachas(list)". This page is very often updated following our dfferent works. If you want to help us for an approach of one territory or country, you are obviously welcome, but you will have to follow some strict modus operandi and agree to have only a part of your discoveries finally selected (we sometimes deleted more climbs that we discovered ourselves than those included in the final selection).
