main challenge in the website Bigcycling, existing since 1985, countains 1000 bigs that can be claimed by members who added +1 in their score when claiming.
bigs
top, summit with a number-big from 1 to 865 and 876 to 950 included in the superlist of 1000 distributed in all the countries in Europe and selected according to 5 principles.

BIG-DAY
special day, in some special years (not all) trying to make a meeting in a given place for the maximum of members at a precise time of the day.
Bigger
member who reached the score of 164 in the challenge BIG
BIG-MONDAY
animation of our Facebook Group reserved to members, every monday of the year, with games, questions, or votes linked to our activity and giving the ability to members to edit a no-comment photo.
Bomb
Points given to every climb in the website, evaluating the intensity of the explosion necessary to climb. This number can be compared to other climbs.
Booklets :
Printable A5 booklets able to be downloaded by members from the website, giving a 4pages-promotion in several languages or the main datas of a special challenge on papersheets.
C6-committee
central director committee, acting daily in favour of the AISBL Bigcycling
Climb (BIG-climb)
A climb, in the Bigcycling world, is an ascent from a bottom to a top, without including downhills with more than 33 % of the length and of the difference of level of the whole climb, and also as more as possible without a « 2in1 » problem.
Contributors
members having paid 10€ for the current year, who get more permissions than other ones in the website ( notably the black triangles on the maps when they are claimed by this member) and who can claim bigs over the score of 164.
Criteria
touristic, mediatic or sport characteristic, marked by triangles filled in colors on the right of the tops’names (green for tourism, yellow for media, red for sport)
Crossroads
Free meetings without central organisation managed by a member and promoted in the Bigcycling website.
EUROBIG-finisher
the member who claimed the 940 bigs and the 60 eurobigs, not all replaced by tops outside Europe
eurobigs
top,summit with a number from 866 to 875 and 951 to 1000 included in the superlist of 1000 distributed in all the eastern countries in Europe, that can be replaced by tops out of Europe to win the Superbig Finisher Badge
europoints
amount of points for a climb, evaluating the energy necessary to climb from the bottom until the top. Good to compare a climb with the other ones.
Extra-Ironbigger
Member having claimed 50 times a different Ironbig
Finishers
members who filled completely one challenge with the total amount of tops in this challenge.
Friends (BIG-friends)
Other members whose you want to know the evolution, scores and events in the Bigcycling world in the homepage
Godfathers
members whose names are linked to a top where they claim a full ironbig (that means 25 climbs) in the respect of its rules.
Gruppetto
Group of the members having claimed at least 100 tgvs
Half-finisher
member who claimed half the total amount of tops included in one challenge.
Honoured members
Members having given their time during at least 10 years for a main job in the AISBL Bigcycling.
Invitation
Possibility given in the social feed at the bottom of the homepage to invite members in a precise place at a precise time
IRONBIG
Challenge in the website Bigcycling, existing since 2010, requesting to climb 25 times the same climb until a top included in one of our lists, inside a given delay
Ironbigger
Member having claimed 10 times an Ironbig
KOM
King of the mountain. Member having claimed all the tgvs of the moment (finisher TGV)
Large committee
C6-committee + contributors + managers + over 500 bigs scores. This large committee can take part in the annual General Assembly of the AISBL and can take part in the votes.
Leaders
Group of the members with less than 50 tgvs left to claim
NATaCHAs
national challenges in the website Bigcycling, existing since 2015, countains a multiple of 25 natachas that can be claimed by members who added +1 in their score when claiming. Challenges under 100 are S size, between 100 & 175 M size, between 200 & 475 L size and with at least 500 XL size.
Natachas
top, summit with a number-natacha beginning by the 3 letters code of the country distributed in this whole country and selected according to the 5 principles. Each summit can have maximum 4 sides.
National meetings
local meetings managed by members themselves, more often national managers, trying to make cycling tours with fellow countrymen.
New Clothes
Clothes black or white with the 3 colours of the triangles, linked to the name Bigcycling.eu
Official meeting
annual meeting managed by the AISBL through a meeting official manager in different countries every year, decided by votes every 5 years.
OLD
old tops previously included in our lists and that have been changed due to several reasons. To suggest to change a top means that to reach the top became very dangerous (4 bands) or impossible (destruction, motorway) every day of the year.
Old Clothes : Clothes blue or with european flags not fashioned anymore and linked to the name BIG-challenge.
Peloton
Group of the members having claimed at least half the amount of tgvs (half-finishers TGV)

Purchasers
Group of the members with less than 100 tgvs left to claim
Review
Magazine, edited annually and sent to members paying 10€ to receive them home, compiling the main datas of the AISBL and all the souvenirs, adventures, events of the previous year
Stickers
Plastic papers scotched to material on some of our tops to mark the precise location of this top.
SUPERBIG-finishers
the members who claimed the 940 bigs and 60 tops, summits outside Europe in respect of the rules of the zone12

Timers
Given times for a climb. Knowing your time for one climb, you can look at which timer it is connected and can then evaluate the time necessary for all the other climbs of our website.
TGV
challenge in the website Bigcycling, existing since 2021, countains all the X-Cat and 1st Cat. Of the Tour de France, Giro and Vuelta since their start.
tgvs
top, summit with a number-tgv beginning by TGV , the letter and the year of the tour where it happened, compiled through all the existing past editions of the 3 great tours : Tour,Giro & Vuelta.
Trophees
Medal for those who reached the score of 500 bigs with their names written and woody trophee for those who reached the score of 1000 bigs with their names written
Two-in-One
When a top is linked to another top by a road joining them inside the mountain range, respecting the rule of 33 %. Those two tops must be linked with one name. If two climbs have a similar section in their sides, one of them must have an own track without intersection (excepted the very old bigs created differently)
