UNDER WORKS - EN TRAVAUX
03-02-2009It's time to claim the real consequences of our "checkup 2008" and our "wide committee's meeting 2009" to show the tasks that are currently under works.
1) new organization of the committee
Our committee has now three groups : the Leading Committee, the national delegates (new) and the activities'managers. Each task has been written with more precision. It's clearer and more efficient !
We have now a treasurer, to take company to the president and the secretary in the eading Committee.
For the national delegates, we have found 3 delegates for Holland, Belgium and Italy. 2 for France, Spain, Hungary, Germany and Poland. 1 for Czech R., England, Ireland, Romania, Sweden. We fetch another one in Czech R., 1 in Slovakia and 1 in Switzerland. Their tasks have received some precisions under 6 different and clear points, with more autonomy and no need each time to pass through the Leading Committee.
For the activities, we've added a manager for the zone 12 who will soon give more precisions about this unclear zone. We've given more precision to the managers of the list of 1.000. A group analyzing the feet and the tops of the climbs will give more precision to the other ones who draw the profiles, calculate the datas, draw the tracks, locate on maps. The sending of the reviews and of the diplomas has been revisited. Our strong points (clothes, meetings, newsletters) have been kept and helped. The judges of the list have been kept andhave now more autonomy and responsability.
2) new works in the website
A coming meeting (february) with our webmaster, Wouter De Ruyck, will help us to update a few pages and to show a still better website.
Currently, the page "contacts" has been ameliorated by giving special email "job-country @ challenge-big.eu" sending directly the request to the good person. Our page "committee" shows the new committee. This committee has all now the ability to send a news in the website. Thank to Jose Bruffaerts, one by one, BIG by BIG, descriptions with main links are added.Pages to help the visitor and the member to use the website with explanations and snagscreens are under works.
For the contributing members, new classifications are born : ranking by zones, competition between the 25 best in each country; the clothes'manager can himself manage his stock's page, there are only 60 topographic maps of the tops missing today. Under works, we have the goal to show to the contributing members (class 3 at least) as soon as possible new clearly better profiles , timers, Google earth tracks, Google maps still better located. Many persons are working on those things currently.
3) new financial organization
In the goal to be more efficient, to keep our counts clearer and to use the easiest and widest international ways of payment, our financial organization has been revisited. Our annual counts will appear in the annual review each year. The belgian bankcount is now the official lonely bankcount with a Multi Pack giving the ability to 4 users to manage the count : the president, the treasurer, the meeting manager and the clothes'manager with home PC banking. The use of Paypal has been added in the pages of the website. The contributions have been revisited from a simple and united sum of 10€ to four classes of members with 0€,5€,15€ and more as an annual gift, giving some differences between the use of the website and the review or diplomas. From a negative and poor financial way of live, we have now a positive and correct financial context. We don't want to become rich, we only want to be able to activate correctly without stress our dear challenge.
The 40 persons of the B.I.G's committee are at your service to share our passion in the best way.
Il est temps à présent de faire le point sur le check-up 2008 et sur la réunion du Comité élargi 2009 pour présenter les travaux réalisés et en cours :
1) nouvelle organisation du comité
Notre comité a maintenant trois groupes : le Comité Directeur, les délégués nationaux (nouveau) et les managers d'activités. Chaque tâche a été écrite avec plus de précision. C'est plus clair et plus efficace !
Nous avons maintenant un trésorier, pour tenir compagnie au président et au secrétaire dans le Comité Directeur.
Pour les délégués nationaux, nous avons trouvé 3 délégués nationaux pour la Hollande, la Belgique et l'Italie; 2 pour l'Espagne, la France, la Hongrie, l'Allemagne et la Pologne, 1 pour la République Tchèque, Suède, l'Angleterre, l'Irlande et la Roumanie. Nous en cherchons un autre pour la république tchèque et 1 en Suisse et en Slovaquie. Les tâches de ces délégués nationaux ont été explicitées en 6 points précis et clairs. Ils ont plus d'autonomie et ne sont pas obligés de passer pour tout par le Comité Directeur.
Pour les activités, nous avons ajouté un manager pour la zone 12 qui va nous apporter bientôt plus de précisions sur la manière de gérer cette zone un peu trouble. Nous avons donné plus de précisions au sujet de la gestion de la liste des 1.000. Un groupe analyse les pieds et sommets et transmet des informations à d'autres qui dessinent de nouveaux profils, calculent des données chiffrées, tracent les ascensions sur Google earth et reprécisent les points sur Google Maps. La manière de gérer l'envoi des revues et diplômes a été revisitée. Nos points forts (vêtements, rendez-vous, bulletins) ont été gardés et aidés. Les juges de la liste ont été maintenus et ont obtenu plus d'autonomie et de responsabilité.
2) nouveaux travaux sur le site
Une réunion à venir (février) avec notre webmaster, Wouter De Ruyck, nous aidera à mettre à jour pas mal de pages et à vous présenter un site web encore plus performant.
Pour l'instant, la page"contacts" a été améliorée en donnant une adresse email "job-pays @ challenge-big.eu" renvoyant directement vos requêtes à la bonne personne. Notre page "comité" montre le nouveau comité. Toutes les personnes de ce comité ont maintenant aussi la possibilité d'envoyer des infos sur le site. Grâce à José Bruffaerts, un par un, BIG par BIG, les pages "descriptions" se complètent de liens internet principaux et incontournables.
Pour les membres cotisants, de nouveaux classements sont nés : nouveaux clasements par zone, compétition entre les pays à travers leurs 25 meilleurs représentants; le manager des vêtements peut aujourd'hui gérer seul sa page de stocks, il ne manque plus que 60 cartes topographiques. En travaux actuellement, nous avons le but d'offrir aussi vite que possible à tous les membres cotisants de nouveaux profils bien meilleurs, des tableaux de temps d'ascension, des tracés en Google Earth et des localisations plus précises sur Google Maps. Beaucoup de personnes y travaillent actuellement.
3) nouvelle organisation financière
Dans le but d'une plus grande efficacité, pour rendre nos comptes plus clairs, notre organisation financière a été revue. Notre comptabilité annuelle sera désormais dans chacune de nos revues annuelles. Le compte belge est devenu l'unique compte du BIG avec un Multi Pack donnant la possibilité à 4 mandataires d'utiliser ce compte de chez eux via un PC banking : le président, le trésorier, le manager des vêtements et celui des rendez-vous. L'utilisation de Paypal a été ajoutée à nos pages du site. Les cotisations ont été revues et corrigées passant d'une cotisation unique de 10€ pour la revue à 4 classes de 0,5,15 ou plus d'euros séparant l'utilisation du site de la réception des revues et diplômes. D'une situation négative et pauvre, nous sommes arrivés à une situation financière positive et correcte. Nous ne voulons pas devenir riches,nous voulons simplement avoir les fonds suffisants pour animer de manière efficace et correcte notre cher challenge.
