NILSON Jerry - 08-08-2022:
There were already some road works in 2020 – thought they had been finished by now and some car drivers complained about me even though I was trying to help them get by ... but other than that it was a nice experience in 2020 and before too on both sides (very fast descent on the Swiss side and one can take the old road when going up half-way). One can only shortly avoid the main road at two places on the Italian side though as far as I remember, but hopefully it will get better when road works are finished (it is a surprisingly small road down in Italy in places). There are many nice side roads up from the main road also!

REPETTI M A U R O - 07-08-2022:
Climbed in a hot day in august from Domodossola, i dont liked this climb for some reason =
traffic like hell........
thousand of tunnels...and most of them in one lane only, for works....so you have to struggle in one lane after many green lights, for go out of the tunnels with 1000 cars and buses behind you, that cant overtake you (too narrow one lane) ;
the part in italy is also worse (bad tarmac, trees that arrive in the right side of the road...)
panorama = zero.........only the top is good (I am talking from Domodossola side...), with a wonderful granito eagle that dominate all.
Anyway, you clearly see the difference (BIG difference) between Italy and Suisse, just crossed the border......
I think Brig side is better, but always with a lot of traffic and tunnels.

BIDEGAIN Gorka - 03-08-2022:
Subiendo desde Brig me ha parecido muy agobiante por el tráfico y la velocidad a la que subían los camiones... Muchos túneles en la parte superior, pero en la cima preciosas vistas...
